What types of support are most effective for fertility patients?

The Inception Research Institute and Frame are partnering in a research study evaluating the impact of an emotional support digital platform to support patients during their fertility journey.

Frame is a digital platform that connects patients with evidence-based resources, educational content and a care team including a dedicated fertility coach to provide personalized emotional support for patients exploring fertility treatment.

This intervention supplements in-person care from your fertility clinic to answer questions, provide suggestions for lifestyle changes, and give emotional wellness support.

Key Participant Requirements

We are seeking women who have recently completed their New Patient Consult at one of our participating fertility clinics.

Study participants must meet the following criteria:

  • Women ages 22-44 years old
  • Ability to read, write and speak English
  • Have access to a smart phone and internet connection

Patients who have undergone fertility treatment, planning fertility preservation or egg donation are excluded from participation.

During the study, participants who are eligible will:

Complete an online questionnaire at two timepoints: beginning & end of study participation

Study participants will be randomly assigned to one of two groups: intervention or control group

Participants assigned to the intervention group receive app access immediately. Participants assigned to the control group will receive app access after study completion

Study participants assigned to the intervention group are encouraged to use the Frame app for six months

As part of the study, participants will receive

Frame app access at no charge. A $10 gift card after completing the first questionnaire and $20 gift card after completing the last questionnaire.
